Penn Alexander has an extremely diverse student body. Several of our Classroom Mentors and Penn Mentors identified the school's diversity as the most special aspect of Penn Alexander, citing it as an enrichment to the school culture. One Penn Mentor noted that in addition to being ethnically diverse, the school exhibits a range of economic diversity as well, a rarity in most other Philadelphia public schools.
